Because you're one of several who'd like to discuss books with other people who share the same interests as you. Because you'd like to promote a book for 'Book of the Month.' Because you'd like to get your own, tactful opinions out there about books you may or may not have liked.
It has been almost two years since my last post. I feel really bad about how I just dropped this blog, because I got really wrapped up in my school work. I think I am going to start it up again. I really have missed being able to read all the time. I am only a month away from getting out of high school and facing the real world. Which means that I will have more time to read. In the Fall I will be attending college, to start working on my nursing degree.
I am going to start this off slow and see how it goes. I really hope it works out. Even though I doubt any of my old readers still look at this blog. But if you do please! let me know.

It's been several months since Lina and Doon escaped the dying city of Ember and, along with the rest of their people, joined the town of Sparks. Now, struggling through the rest of the winter aboveground, they find an unusual book. Torn up and missing most of its pages, it alludes to a mysterious device from before the Disaster, which they believe is still in Ember. Together Lina and Doon must go back under ground to retrieve what was lost and bring light to a dark world...
This was another wonderful book in the Ember series. Ms. DuPrau had me holding on to every single page of this book. it was a great story of hope and courage. It had some unexpected surprises that I did not see coming and over all it was a great ending to the story of Lina and Doon. I recommend this book and all the other books in the series to every child and adult out there who loves adventure novels.
So I am super excited for The City of Ember movie. It releases October 10th which is just a little bit longer than 1 week away! I am probably going to go the day it releases with a couple of my friends. But if you are wondering "What the heck is this movie/book about?". Well just play the video on this post to watch the super amazing trailer of the movie.
Wow that is one of the best trailers I have seen in my life span. I also wanted to point out that Marianne Jean-Baptiste from Without A Trace, a show about the FBI's missing persons division (CBS), is in the movie and she is one awesome actress. I love her in Without a Trace and I just know since she will be in the movie it is going to be great! Here are some questions I would like you to answer in your comment: Are you excited for the movie?
What are your feelings about the actors/actresses?
Anything Else you would like to add please do so!
*P.S in case you are wondering, I do not have a copy to give away of The Diamond of Darkhold. But you can go to the other sites listed at the end of yesterday's post and check to see which ones are giving a copy away.
If you have been looking at my reviews that you might have noticed that some of the have age recommendations. If I read a book that has mature content like drugs, language, etc. I will make a recomendation on what age I think is appropriate to read the book. If you have a question about one of my recommendations on a certain book or you want to know more about what type of content is in a certain book, email me.
